Begin with the default policy

The default content-moderation threshold is 90%. Server owners can choose a threshold from 0% to 100%, with optional overrides for individual categories. Percentages are model scores, not calibrated probabilities of harm.

Configure each protection

~categories

Review category state.

~threshold

Review effective sensitivity.

~spam-detection status

Review spam detection.

~link-protection status

Review the broad external-link filter.

~image-scanning status

Review image scanning.

~join-protection status

Review new-account verification.

~nickname-protection status

Review username and nickname checks.

Scope and exemptions

Use include and exclude with a channel or category ID to control automatic-moderation scope. Moderator exemption defaults on. Logging can still occur in spaces excluded from automatic intervention, so test both moderation and audit behaviour.

Verification checklist

  • The bot can see and manage the test channel.
  • The chosen category and threshold are visible in the dashboard.
  • The response matches the configured action.
  • The real message or member state changed as expected.
  • The case or event record does not overstate the result.
