The walkthrough

How it works.

From your settings to the result your team can review.

  1. 01

    Collect activity counts

The statistics view uses aggregate activity rather than stored message text.

  2. 02

    Explore the dashboard

Compare channel activity, membership changes and moderation records.

  3. 03

    Use the context

Bring trends into team reviews and decisions about server policy.

01

Private dashboard insights

Activity insights are designed around aggregate counts. The dashboard states that message text is not stored for the statistics view.

  • Messages and active channels.
  • Joins, leaves and net member growth.
  • Messages per member and aggregate word trends.
  • Cases, moderation events and leaderboards.
02

Meaning of public totals

  • Server count includes servers sharing public-statistics snapshots.
  • Combined memberships sum each server count and may include the same person more than once.
  • Case count is a historical total, including removed cases.
  • The update time is the newest server snapshot, not a site publication date.
03

Use statistics as context

A higher message count does not automatically mean a healthier community. Compare trends with moderator workload, reports, retention and the server's own goals before changing policy.
