Member submission

Eligible actions receive a ten-character appeal code tied to the affected user ID. The first statement must contain 20–2,000 characters and may include evidence images. The portal is private and is not indexed.

Moderator decision

~appeal CASE_ID accept REASON

Accept and request reversal of an eligible action.

~appeal CASE_ID deny REASON

Deny and record the explanation.

Verify the reversal

Warning, timeout and server-ban reversals happen asynchronously and may fail when the bot lacks permission or the server or member is unavailable.

  1. 01

    Record the decision

Use a reason that addresses the member's statement.

  2. 02

    Check the queued result

Do not stop at the accepted status.

  3. 03

    Confirm the server state

Verify the warning count, timeout or ban.

  4. 04

    Add follow-up context

Document any manual correction or unresolved failure.

Not covered by this portal

Global bans do not use the server appeal portal. The only way to appeal a Stoatmod global ban is to email admin@modstoat.site with the affected user ID, global-ban reference and supporting context.
